CloseIn the era of the 24-hour news cycle and instant social media amplification of any scandal, non-profits must be more transparent than ever. Donors have heard too many horror stories of fraud and poor financial leadership recently.
So, how can audits help? Well, as the National Council of Nonprofits says, an organisation “can build its reputation for integrity, transparency and professionalism” by having a regular independent audit conducted and making it available to its stakeholders and the public. Funders want to know their money is in safe hands, so prove it.
Join this Third Sector webinar, produced in partnership with Sage Intacct, for tips and advice on how to achieve a quick and cost effective audit. Our panel of experts will talk through which areas of a non-profit’s financial statements represent the highest risk and will provide insight on some of the tools that are available to help your organisation get organised and ready to produce regular audit-ready financial reports.
